The Kiscaden Residence is a project that is currently under construction near Abingdon in the Southern Virginia mountains. Sited at the rivers edge, the house is mostly glass to allow unobstructed views into the landscape. This home uses a geothermal system to heat and cool the interior air and provide radiant heat for the stone floors. This system also helps to heat the pool. The simple material pallet of wood, glass, steel and stone, reflect the natural environment that surrounds the house.
