hunt child care resource center

The Jim & Carolyn Hunt Child Care Resource is designed to foster collaborative relationships with the Durham Partnership for Children and Durham's Alliance for Child Care Access. This co-location provides a streamlined, one stop center for parents in need of early childhood services. The project includes a catering kitchen that provides 2,000 meals per day to regional child care offices. The 26,960 SF building design was carefully sited and designed to maximize opportunities for natural light. The design’s clean lines feature low maintenance, highly durable materials that are warm and comfortable. This project was completed while Dan Huffman, AIA was a principal at Cherry Huffman Architects (now RATIO Architects).
